2014: A Year of New Beginnings

Written by Allison Sima, Sr. Marketing Communications Coordinator, Brown & celebrity news Joseph, Ltd. December 23, 2013.

At the end of every year, the holiday season is a time for family, friends, food and celebration. Regardless of who you are or what background you have, the holiday season is a time for peace, joy and good will to all. It is a time just before we start a new beginning.

The start of a new year is always looked at as a time for a fresh start. As each new year passes, they become chapters in our life. The start of a new chapter brings with it opportunity.

Oprah Winfrey once toasted, “Cheers to a new year and another chance for us to get it right.”

We can immerse ourselves in memories, however it is each new day that brings a chance to make our lives even better than they already are today. Each morning, going forward, is an adventure. We learn and grow through experience.

While many of us do not stick to a new year’s resolution, in 2014, try this instead. Walk through the open door in front of you taking with you the good and close the door behind you. Continue to walk forward with a smile on your face as you search for good fortune. The power to do so in your hands.

Make this chapter in your life part of your best seller.
