Asif Munir

Chief Operating Officer

Asif Munir joined Brown & Joseph, Ltd.  in 2003. Asif was initially recruited to develop a Management Information Process for the executive management team that would facilitate implementation of best practices and controlled growth in operations. Asif’s accomplishments emphasize over 10 years of experience in the areas of operational management and over 9 years of experience in accounts receivable management. His knowledge in implementation of process control, technology and automation in various aspects of accounts receivable management business aided Mr. Munir to quickly ascend to Chief Operating Officer for the Brown & Joseph, Ltd.  Companies USA and Asia Divisions. As a global company with a diverse & growing group of employees, Brown & Joseph, Ltd.  is very proud to have Asif as one of the members of their executive management team.


Jessica Schneider, CCCO

Comptroller

Jessica Schneider has over 8 years of experience in client services and 4 years of experience as a compliance officer for Brown & Joseph, Ltd. She is a certified credit and collections compliance officer through ACA International. Jessica graduated from the University of Phoenix with a BSB in finance and is planning on continuing her education to procure a master's degree in business administration or finance. She began her career with Brown & Joseph, Ltd. 6 years ago. In recognizing that client satisfaction is our number one priority, Jessica has successfully guided production and streamlined operations by helping to match clients' needs and expectations with company goals. In addition, she has attended various ACA International Seminars along with Credit and Collection Workshops in an effort to establish a practical compliance program for Brown & Joseph, placing strong focus on compliance with outside regulatory requirements as well as internal policies. While still maintaining her Compliance Officer role, Jessica has recently been promoted to Comptroller at Brown & Joseph in which she will play a key role in overseeing financial analysis and reporting procedures/methodologies for the Company.


Stacy Affatigato 

Director of International Claims & Litigation 

Stacy Affatigato has over 10 years of experience in legal debt recovery and litigation, including a background in servicing U.S. and International Clients. Stacy has worked with Brown & Joseph, Ltd.  for over 7 years managing the International Claims and litigation team, improving efficiencies and increasing department productivity. She provides education to the departments including sales, client services and works closely with clients regarding reducing frivolous and costly litigation while increasing client net-back through productive negotiation and litigation.


Don Leviton

Legal Counsel

Don graduated in 1979 from Arizona State University with a B.S. degree, majoring in accounting and earned a Juris Doctor in 1982 from The John Marshall Law School.  Don has been admitted to the Illinois State Bar since 1982 and the District of Columbia Bar since 2010, and has extensive experience representing the rights of creditors and insurance companies.  As a principal in the law firm of Atlas & Leviton, Don concentrated on commercial collection matters, insurance subrogation, bankruptcy matters and international collections.  The firm represented well known commercial companies such as, 3M, American Airlines, CBS Radio, WBBM-TV, as well as mom and pop entities.  Insurance companies represented in subrogation matters included Indiana Farmers Insurance, Cincinnati Insurance, Universal Casualty Insurance, Universal Underwriters Group, State Farm Insurance and Colonial Penn Insurance. While not always possible, it was the firm’s philosophy and goal to negotiate amicable settlements and workouts between their clients and debtors in order that the parties may attempt to continue their business relationships in this very challenging economic environment. Don treats his client’s outstanding accounts and claims as his own and believes throwing good money after bad makes no sense.  His collection methods are proven effective.   In addition to his collection practice Don has been in-house legal counsel for a start-up litigation loan financing company, where Don was responsible for creating and implementing policies and procedures, providing legal advice to management, handling and advising on routine legal issues, transactional, compliance and corporate governance matters, underwriting and monitoring outstanding loans, and legal collection of defaulted loans.  In his role as in-house legal counsel Don’s responsibilities include corporate matters, drafting collection letters, settlement workouts, and litigation, supervising and teaching employees compliance under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and other Federal and State legislation governing the collection industry.  

Don has served for many years as an arbitrator for the Circuit Court of Cook County Mandatory Arbitration program and was chair qualified with the authority to administer oaths, rule on the admissibility of evidence, and decide questions of fact and law in order to reach an award in a case.  Don's law practice and his positions as in-house counsel have given him exposure to a wide range of problems in large and small companies from the perspective of both lawyer and management. .


Mykhaylo (Misha) Storozhuk

Chief Technology Officer

Mykhaylo Storozhuk joined Brown & Joseph, Ltd. in 2008 with 15 years of experience in information technology for the financial services industry. Misha has a Masters in Information Technology Networks. His primary goal when he joined Brown & Joseph was improving security both for the network and physically in the office. He brings his depth of experience, technical skills and management capabilities to his current position where he supports the administration and management operations. Misha has made numerous impressive contributions to Brown & Joseph’s IT network, and continues to make improvements daily. He is now responsible for all aspects of information technology at the Brown & Joseph.
